White House Call
The commander-in-chief said he’s discussed a visit to the White House for the parents of both soldiers of the West Virginia Guard.
“I stated: ‘When you’re prepared, because that’s a tough thing, come to the White House. We’re going to pay tribute to Sarah,” Trump told the press. “And likewise with him, recover or not.”
Community Support
Attendees came together over the past few days at the high school in West Virginia to remember Sarah.
Both she and Wolfe had been working with the West Virginia National Guard as part of the president’s federal initiative to assist policing efforts in DC.
Remembering Beckstrom
“She was the type of pupil that educators hoped for. She conducted herself with quiet strength, a warm expression and a upbeat demeanor that encouraged people around her,” Hankins, the principal of her previous school, stated to the Associated Press. “She was sweet, compassionate and always willing to help others.”
Memorial details for Sarah are still being arranged.

Attorney general the attorney general informed Fox News Sunday that she aimed to meet with Wolfe’s family.
Impact of Beckstrom
Sarah, from her hometown, graduated from Webster County high school in June 2023 and began her service not long after, serving as a law enforcement officer with excellence, as stated by the West Virginia National Guard.
“She had a lot of compassion and she definitely had fortitude,” the governor addressed the audience at the memorial. “Though her time was cut short, she has left a mark that’s going to endure.”
