The United Kingdom is prepared to move forward with employing the full worth of immobilized Russia's funds to aid the Ukrainian military campaign, PM Sir Keir Starmer has declared.

In a joint statement, the leaders of the United Kingdom, France, and the Federal Republic of Germany emphasized that this unified step would increase strain on Moscow's head Vladimir Putin and persuade the Russian Federation to engage in negotiations.

They further noted that the move would be implemented in tight collaboration with the United States.

British penalties have frozen over £25bn of Russia's funds since the Russian government began its widespread offensive against the Ukrainian nation in 2022.
