Since the launch of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Lee Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with extensive world-building, a diverse cast of heroes, and a gripping narrative featuring angels, fiends, and sinister influences expanding in strength within the urban setting.

The Warrior Group Revealed
Episode 3 concluded with a huge suspense moment and introduced the premier party of adventurers who will branch out from the primary party to embark on their own adventure, separate from the remaining groups.
This warrior group features Teor Pridesire (portrayed by the voice actor), the nimble rogue (Laura), Tyranny (Whitney Moore), Wicander (Sam Riegel), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie Daymond).
Why Split the Party?
With a large ensemble, it was evident from the outset that having everyone at a single group would be unworkable.
That’s why, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, weaving together the characters’ stories before splitting into three smaller tables: Soldiers, Strategists, and Questers.
Characteristics of the Combat Party
Per the Dungeon Master, the Soldiers table is for players who are drawn to a classically intense combat and conflict-driven story mode where diplomatic options are rare.
At first glance, characters like the reluctant priest the cleric might appear mismatched, but the actions of the latest installment make it clear why these specific adventurers are best suited for the warrior group.
Reasons to Leave
To begin with, the group knows exactly where to go next after a violent first encounter with the enemy group.
A former ally of Thjazi Fang—whose demise kicked off the story’s plot—used The Crow Keepers for his personal gain, entering the secret base, assaulting the character, and stealing all the magical artifacts to sell off.
The traitor then cleared his debts and escaped to a Halovar stronghouse in the northern region, above Dol-Makjar, with Teor’s brother close behind.
Character Drivers
Moreover, each character has a individual motive to leave the city the urban setting:
- Thimble, as the companion and best friend, desires revenge.
- The adventurer knows the northern area and advises that it is a dangerous location.
- Tyranny and The cleric, having disobeyed his house’s orders to eliminate the target and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
- Yet, their status as important members in the powerful family could enable the team reach locations they typically wouldn’t be able to.
- Additionally, Teor swore a unbreakable promise to The savior for his deliverance and will now follow him anywhere.
Fugitives
In addition, all of them are hunted by the authorities that rule the city for a variety of reasons, making staying in the city too risky:
- The rogue and The hero are known criminals.
- Tyranny and The cleric defied the powerful family and the army of fiends they are partnered with.
- The fighter is wanted dead by the family.
This results in them little choice but to head to Timmony in quest for the traitor.
