Slot Insists He Is Secure and Retains Liverpool's Support After PSV Defeat
The Liverpool head coach admitted that it was expected for doubts to be asked about his future following a further convincing defeat versus the Dutch champions.

They were dominated by the Eredivisie champions on a tough night at Anfield.
“I am feeling safe, I'm fine, I have got plenty of support from above,” the coach commented.
“It would be nice to reverse this trend and secure a win obviously but when you're working as a coach and underperforming then it is normal that people question you.”
He continued, “I am OK with my position. It is not the initial instance I’ve been in a difficult position but it's crucial that we improved our results.”
Discussions with Liverpool Hierarchy
When asked to provide details on his conversations with the Liverpool hierarchy, Slot explained:
“We talk a lot. They are helpful for the squad and for me and we have those conversations but they don’t call me every single minute each day to say they trust me.”
He further stated, “Through standard conversations we have I feel the belief. But I haven’t spoken to them since this match so far so we'll see.”
Recurring Issues and Player Reaction

Meanwhile, midfielder Jones was more direct in his evaluation of the team's situation.
“I haven't got the solutions. Truthfully, I do not. I’m saying that to everybody,” the midfielder stated.
“It's simply unacceptable. I don't have to wait to reflect. I’m past being angry inside. I’m at the point now where I just don’t have the vocabulary.”
He added, “It's difficult because I play for the club I love. I’m a fan, and I’ve seen Liverpool for years.”
“In a long, long time, I haven’t experienced a Liverpool team experiencing a phase like this with outcomes this poor.”
Jones finished, “However we still have the emblem on our chest. And until that badge is removed, we will always fight.”
“We will attempt to help the side return to the top, demonstrate to all again what Liverpool stands for and why people call it the best team in the planet.”
“But right now, we're in trouble and it needs to change.”
